The following funding and rebates are accepted:
Full cost of sessions covered by families.
Chronic Disease Care Plan (Allied Health Medicare plan): This allows you to claim a rebate (about $50) from Medicare for 5 speech pathology sessions per year. You can talk with your GP and ask if your child may be eligible.
Helping Children with Autism (HCWA): This is a medicare package of 20 allied health session that can be accessed through your child's paediatrician following a formal diagnosis. There are specific requirements for access to this package and your paediatrician will be able to let you know if you are eligible.
Paediatrician referral for autism assessment.
You can talk with your insurance provider to determine if your insurance covers Speech Pathology.
A paid invoice is issued following receipt of payment.
Self-managed NDIS plan: You can use the receipt provided to claim the cost of sessions in line with your package.
Plan Managed NDIS Plan: You can provide the details of your plan manager and invoices can be sent directly to the plan manager.
