Funding Options

The following funding and rebates are accepted:

Self-funded

• Full cost of sessions covered by families.

Medicare

• Chronic Disease Care Plan (Allied Health Medicare plan):  This allows you to claim a rebate (about $50) from Medicare for 5 speech pathology sessions per year.  You can talk with your GP and ask if your child may be eligible.

• Helping Children with Autism (HCWA): This is a medicare package of 20 allied health session that can be accessed through your child's paediatrician following a formal diagnosis.  There are specific requirements for access to this package and your paediatrician will be able to let you know if you are eligible.

• Paediatrician referral for autism assessment.

Private health insurance

• You can talk with your insurance provider to determine if your insurance covers Speech Pathology.

• A paid invoice is issued following receipt of payment.

National Disability Insurance Scheme

• Self-managed NDIS plan: You can use the receipt provided to claim the cost of sessions in line with your package.

• Plan Managed NDIS Plan: You can provide the details of your plan manager and invoices can be sent directly to the plan manager.
